Death the kid x reader,Strange feelings,Part 15

~Your P.O.V.~
"The reason i still want you with me,is because i love you" Kid said and he smiled.
Even though everything is dark, i can see his white smile and eyes shine.
I felt something fell down my cheeks.
I looked up and saw that it was rain was pouring down.
A drip fell down to the side of my mouth.
It's salty...it's a tear?
Kid slowly leaned in closer and our lips met eachother.
I completely forgot about the tears and kissed him back.
When we parted i felt a sharp pain in my chest and a loud thump in my head.
Almost as if i was intoxicated by pain,i smiled and looked up at Kid.
I opened my mouth and said something to him.
I couldn't hear it myself anymore but he smiled towards me.
His gentle smile was the last thing i saw before everything went black...


My eyes shot open and looked around me.
I'm back in my room?
I recognized the room by it's (F/C) walls and the (F/C) bed.
My own room? In my own house.
I tried sitting up but immediately fell back with a loud thud.
"Ouchh..."i said and grunted.
That moment,the door of my room slowly opened and a person entered my room.
"Ah! You're finally awake"Kid smiled and then walked towards me.
Kid sat down on the side of my bed and then put his hand on mine.
"Kid,shouldn't i be at school?...with professor Stein"i asked and Kid then nodded.
"Yeah,you should be,but,he told me that you'll have to rest for even longer than last time. So he said you could go home...but he also has to keep an eye on you so he-"
"Is staying here,untill you healed" Kid and i both looked at the doorway and saw professor Stein who fixed his glasses.

Kid let out a soft growl.
"And because of that, i'll be staying here too"he said while looking at Stein and squeezed my hand.
Professor Stein smiled and then walked towards us.
I sat up and Kid put supported my back.
"Do as you please, i already told you i won't do anything to her, right?"
He said and then poked my cheek.
With a confused look, i squinted my eyes and slowly leaned back.
"You said, you couldn't do anything to her because i was by her. So, i'm staying"
Kid said and pulled me away from Stein.
Do anything to me?
Is he talking about the dissecting thing? So that rumor is real...
Confused,i let out a sigh and looked at Stein.
"So how long will i have to rest? Or atleast, when can i go outside and such things?"i said and he looked down to me.
"I guess you can start going outside again after like a week? Maybe two"
Stein said back and turned his screw.
Kid kept glaring at him and Stein kept smiling back.
I don't understand why Kid is acting like that towards him now.
He saved my live two times, right?
But, Kid is Kid. Everything has to be perfect.
I chuckled and then fell down on my pillow.

~Kid's P.O.V.~
___________ fell back asleep again and i went to her living room.
I was sitting down, facing Stein and there was an awkward silence.
"So..."i said and looked up "if __________ is fully healed, what will happen then?"
I asked and then professor Stein scratched his chin.
"I don't know" he said and sighed "it's all ____________'s choice, maybe she want's revenge on Medusa. Or maybe she just wants to forget it all and live on" Stein said but then chuckled.
"But, i if i remember her father. I don't think she'll just forget it"
He let out another chuckle.
I almost forgot, He and _____________'s father knew each other.
"But we don't need to think about that now. She needs to heal first"
He said and then stood up.
"I'm going outside to smoke, ____________ said i can't smoke inside the house.."
With that he left the room and went outside.

I let out a sigh and leaned back into the couch.
All of a sudden, i heard footsteps come into the room and i looked up.
I saw Soul and Maka enter the room and the smiled.
"Hey Kid, Stein let us in"Maka said and then looked back, at Stein probably.
"Owh, oke"i said back and Maka looked around.
"Is _____________ in her room? Is it okay if i go to her?"
She then said and already started walking to _____________'s room.
I nodded and then she left.
Soul sat down next to me and then looked at me.
"You know..." He started "you should've like, called us when you found __________. Or maybe when you brought her to Stein"
He said and then smiled, showing his pointy white teeth.
I chuckled and then nodded "yeah, sorry for that. I just wanted to help her so badly i forgot about you guys "i said and then we both laughed a little bit.
"I see you both are having fun" we both turned around and saw Maka together with _________.
"Hey _________! You can't stand up yet!"i yelled and stood up.
She let out a chuckle "but i'm standing right now, aren't i?"
I looked at her and it looked like she was already healed!
She stood up right like nothing has happened.
i gulped and then let out a sigh "well....it's okay i guess. But let's hope professor Stein will not see you standing"
I said and Maka and __________ put up their thumb.



~Stein's P.O.V.~
I walked out of the room and opened the front door.
When i opened it i saw Maka and Soul.
Looks like Maka was just about to knock on the door.
"Oh, hey professor Stein! We're here for __________!" Maka said and smiled.
"Liz and Patti told us that she was here, instead of at school now" Soul said.
I nodded and took a step aside for the two.
"She's inside, Kid is in the living room" the two nodded and then walked inside.
"Hey Kid, Stein let us in" Maka said and looked back at me.
I walked outside and closed the door behind me.
I walked over to the window and grabbed a cigaret.
I lit it in and put in in my mouth.
"Finally" i sighed and looked around me.
I'm still surprised that a young girl like ____________ is living alone so far from the academy.  
I looked back inside and saw Kid, sitting next to Soul in the couch.
They both we're laughing.
Fascinating, they smile again so quickly after something has happened.
Almost as if they are used to it.
That moment, Maka and ___________ entered the room.
My eyes widened. ____________ is standing on her own right now.
This morning she wasn't even able to sit up herself.
I saw that Kid panicked and looked around him.
He didn't notice me ofcourse.
They all said something to eachother and then they all laughed.
______________ and Maka both put up their thumb and nodded.
I smiled and then threw down my cigaret.
___________ really makes me think of her dad.
Her father also healed so quickly and never listened to what i said...
I stepped down on the cigaret and then turned my screw.
But i also know, that her father always wanted to finish a fight.

~Your P.O.V.~
So a week has passed since i got back again.
I completely healed already!
Stein must have made a mis calculation or something.
But, he and Kid still are cautious and are still keep an eye on me.
I was back at the academy and walked through the hallways.
Kid was walking to my right and then suddenly stopped.
"S-so you really are sure you are okay?"he said and looked at me concerned.
I chuckled, Kid is acting just like my father now.
"I'm okay Kid! Don't worry so much and, we're in the same class! So i can come to you if something is wrong, right?" I said and then stepped infront of him.
Kid blushed a little and then nodded.
I smiled and we walked to class

we saw that there weren't much students yet, when we entered the class.
I sat down and Kid took a seat next to me.
After a little while everyone entered the class and professor Stein rolled into the class on his chair.
"Good morning everyone, today we'll have something fun for a change!"
Stein smiled and then stood up.
"Oh no, not again..." I heard Kid whisper to himself and he put his hands over his eyes.
"Why oh no?.."i said ,but he didn't answer.
I looked back at Stein who was grinning and he cleared his throat.
"We're going to dissect some frogs! Sadly, we can't do anything more challenging than that"
My eyes widened, did he just say dissect!?
"So..."he said and put his hands together "everyone, form couples of two and i'll give you a frog and tools.
"Hey Kid, wanna partner up?"i said and smiled.
With a strange look Kid looked up and then smiled.
"O-of course.....i-if y-you want to, heheh..."He laughed nervously and scratched the back of his head.
I heard someone laugh from behind us and we both looked back.
We saw Black star laughing and i tilted my head.
"You sure you want to do this Kid!? Last time you almost puked and you were pale for a week!" Black Star laughed and i even saw soul let out a chuckle.
"Huh? What's the matter Kid? Can't you dissect a simple frog?"i asked and Kid blushed bright red.
"Now you sound like professor Stein! And ...that's not it...i-i just think it's sad, that they killed a harmless frog for us, just to cut it open"
He said and poked his fingers against each other.
"Come on Kid"a low voice said from behind Kid.
Professor Stein put his hand on his shoulder and then smiled.
"You carried __________ to my house when she was bloody and almost dead, so a simple little frog isn't that hard, right?" He smiled and then leaned in closer to Kid.
"Because, if you can't, then you'll be the next one under a knife"Stein whispered in his ear and i saw Kid grow pale.
"I think i'm better now!" Kid yelled and straightened his back.
Stein smiled and gave a thumbs up.
It can't end up so bad,right?

~Your P.O.V.~
Till now....it has been a disaster.
Half of the class is already gone and i can't do anything.
Crona kept saying he couldn't take it and after a while he has a sort of mental breakdown and went to a corner of the room.
Black star, the big hero that he is, made a cut into his frog and then threw up.
Tsubaki is helping him now i believe.
Soul and Maka already left! They already finished.
The rest wasn't ready actually.
Some ran out of the class, some said they'll come back in a minute and some became sick, all because of the, not so normal tasks, Stein gave us.
Normally you would think that you just have to take out to heart, or show where it is right?
Well, Stein has a...special mind. We have to cut open the organs and all sorts of things.
We have to describe how it feels and then write it down.
So only a few of the students are left with Kid and me.
But there is a little problem...
When Stein said we could begin dissecting i gave the scalpel to Kid and he accepted it.
But when he looked at the pinned down animal he suddenly went pale and froze.
He isn't moving at all! I don't even know if he's still alive.
And with him in the way, i can't do it.
"Come on Kid! If you don't want to do it then just leave like the rest!"i said and then Kid looked at me.
"N-no! I can't..."he said and then looked down.
"Why not?"i asked and he then looked up at me again.
He leaned towards my ear and then whispered "because of Liz and Patti..."
"I had a bet, if i fail this time, i have to walk around a day, asymmetrical"
He said and i looked around.
I saw the two sisters sit at the last row.
They looked at me and Kid and Patti even waved towards us.
I almost forgot about those two.
"And, i will be a wimp if i can't do this.."he sighed and then looked down.
Not a minute later he looked up again and clenched his fist.
"No time to be sad! I'm gonna do this!"he yelled and then turned towards the table.
He looked down at the pinned down frog and then slowly pulled up the scalpel.
He had a strange kind of smile on his face and his hand was shaking.
"N-nice and steady n-now.."he said and then the blade touched the skin.
The blade sunk into the skin and right at that moment i smiled.
"Good job Kid! You aren't a wimp, see?"i said and smiled.
With closed eyes i turned to Kid but didn't get an answer back.
I heard a loud thud and i opened my eyes again.
I looked around me and Kid disapeared.
I looked at the frog, who nog had a cut in his stomach and a scalpel next to him.
"Kid? Where are y..ou...eh?"i looked around me but when i looked down i saw him.
He was laying on the floor with his eyes closed and his hands symmetrical to his sides.
I heard someone laugh from the back of the class and looked back.
It were Liz and Patti who both had tears because of the laughing.
Did he just pass out?...
I looked at Kid and knelt down next to him.
I waved my hand infront of his eyes but didn't get any kind of reaction back.
So he even faints symmetrical?...
I let out a sigh and then heard someone chuckle infront of me.
I looked up and saw professor Stein chuckling and looking down at Kid and me.
"And he failed again" he chuckled and then looked at the Thompson sisters.
He put a thumb up towards the girls and they did too.
Ooowwhhhh......i get it now, they were working together...
