England x Male!Reader, new years kiss, One-shot

~Your P.O.V.~
It was already a little bit dark outside.
I went to visit England's house for new year.
I will spend the night at his place,so that we can be together on new years eve.
We have been together for not so long....but, i want to take it a little step farther.
England, or Arthur, isn't used to those kind of things though.
He actually never says that he loves me, because he will blush and panic, but i know he does!
We hug sometimes and sometimes, i like lean against him but, if i want to take a step farther he always goes away.
Tonight, i'll get him to kiss me!

I went and rang the bell to his house.
I saw him open the door and he them smiled.
"Hello _________, good to see you again"he said and hugged me.
"it's great seeing you again too, England"i hugged him back.
"Please come in, i just prepared some tea"he held open the door and let me in.
We walked to the living room and i then sat down on the couch.
"Please wait here, i'll bring the tea"he said and walked to the kitchen.

His cooking may not be so good...but i really enjoy his tea!
But, that's not the only thing i like of him ofcourse..
I like his hair...his big lime-green eyes...and the cute face he makes when he laughs...
And! America and the others always say that he is just a serious and boring person.
But he is not! He is very sweet...and not boring at all!

"Are you alright ________? You're blushing allot..."
Arthur sat down facing me and put down a tray.
I blinked a few times and started to blush even more.
Oh no! I dreamt off there!
Blushing, i shook my head "e-eh! I'm sorry! I dozed of there"i said and scratched the back of my head.
Arthur looked at me and chuckled.
He picked up a cup and handed it over to me.
"Please enjoy, i've made some Earl Grey tea this time"he said and i took the cup.
I nodded and took a sip.



~England's P.O.V.~
Today, _______ will come and visit my place.
He said that he wanted to be together with new years eve.
We have been in a relationship for a little while....and i have a feeling that he want's to take a new step.
I'm not ready for it though!
Everytime that i'm with him, i get...nervous and sometimes do stupid things.
Sometimes, i also can come over mad and grumpy, but _____ is the only one who sees through that! But still, i can't say a simple thing as "i love you".
It's just because of...his beautiful (H/C) hair.... And his (E/C) eyes that always stare at me like that...
But, tonight i will take that step! For him! I don't know how...but i will!

There was a ring at the door, that must be ______.
I walked to the door and put my hand on the handle.
Before opening it i took a few deep breaths and i smiled.
"Hello _________, good to see you again" i said as i saw him.
"it's great seeing you again too, England"he said and smiled towards me.
I gulped and already felt my cheeks heat up.
"Please come in, i just prepared some tea" i said and and held open the door for him.
He walked inside and we walked to the living room.
_______ sat down on the couch.
"Please wait here, i'll bring the tea"i said and quickly went to the kitchen.

When i entered the kitchen i poured the tea in the cups and put them on a tray.
When i looked outside the window i saw my own reflection and i noticed that i was blushing red.
"Not again..."i growled to myself and wiped my cheeks.
I peeked in to the living room and noticed that _______ was staring infront of him while blushing for some reason.
I wonder what he is thinking about...

I walked to the living room while holding the tray with tea.
"Are you alright ________? You're blushing allot..."  I asked _______ and sat down, placing the tray on the table between us.
"e-eh! I'm sorry! I dozed of there" _______ panicked and blushed even more.
I smiled and picked up a cup of tea.
"Please enjoy, i've made some Earl Grey tea this time" i handed over the cup and _______ took it from me.
He took a sip and closed his eyes, smiling.
"Hehe, England! Your tea is as always the best!"he said and smiled towards me, making me blush.
"Please, i told you before...call me Arthur.."i said and ______ nodded in response.
"Okay....Arthur"he said quietly and blushed.

~Your P.O.V.~
5 minutes left till twelve o'clock...
Arthur, said that he had a really good place on the balcony to see the fireworks.
As i sat next to him on the balcony, we already saw someone people walk by the houses.
They must be going to the park or somewhere else to see the fireworks.
I nervously poked my fingers against eachother.
I didn't have the chance to ask him...
For some reason, he was really quiet today.
Maybe, he is just nervous as me.

"H-hey..._________" i looked up at Arthur.
He looked at me with a blush on his cheeks and he held out his hand.
"Since it is new years eve...i think i want to take another small step..."he said and looked away from me.
Blushing i nodded "okay...i'm ready"i said and smiled,taking his hand
He then nodded "Well then...um...Here I go"he said and cleared his throat.
For some reason though, it only looked like he got more nervous.
He then suddenly fell silent and stares down.
"H-hey, Arthur..are you okay..?"i asked his and he quickly looked up.
"W-what? Baka,don't look over here"he stuttered and looked away blushing.
"It's not that you are precious to me or anything..."he quickly mumbled.
I chuckled and tried looking into his eyes, but he turned away again.
"I-i said stop looking at me"he repeated.
His hands were warm, almost hot and he gulped.
Right then, i heard the clock in the house.
"Well, I'll say it...um..."he looked at me with big eyes and blushing.
Not like i wasn't blushing...
"Happy new year..."he leaned towards me and our lips met.
Right then the clock stopped and the first few fireworks were shot up.
I closed my eyes and slightly squeezed his hands.
We parted again and i saw him blush as a mad men.
I chuckled and then leaned against him, still holding his hands.
"Happy new year, Arthur"
